OSCAR NOMINATIONS
Congratulations to Peter Jackson (Bad Taste, Braindead), Ridley Scott (Alien, Hannibal) and David Lynch (Eraserhead, Lost Highway) for their nominations at this years 74th Annual Academy Awards.
Both acclaimed directors, who have entertained us over the years join fellow directors Robert Altman and Ron Howard in the category for best achievement in directing. Jackson, whos’ latest vision ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring’ picks up no less than 13 nominations including, Best achievement in Cinematography, Best Screenplay (based on material previously
produced or published), and of course Best Picture.
Tune in on Sunday, March 24, 2002 for the live award ceremony. The show will be televised live all across the world…
In the US: By the ABC Television Network beginning at 5:30 p.m. (PST). A half-hour arrival segment will precede the presentation ceremony at 5 p.m.
