Just yesterday ‘Scream 4’ actor David Arquette was telling the world that the new franchise installment from director Wes Craven could possibly have a new subtitle in the form of ‘Scream 4: The Return to Woodsboro’. It’s a very interesting reveal just a few days after Craven reconfirmed his ‘new trilogy’ talk. Buy anyhoo, what’s more interesting at the moment is that it appears that it’s two main stars Arquette and wife Courteney Cox have reportedly seperated after 11 years of marriage. Quite an intriguing thing to happen just as they’re both shooting a follow-up to the film where they first met. Neve Campbell also returns to the fold along with newcomers Britt Robertson, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere (below), Rory Culkin, Marley Shelton, Nico Tortorella, Mary McDonnell, Anthony Anderson, Aimee Teegarden, Alison Brie, Erik Knudson, Marielle Jaffe. And cameos from Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Shenae Grimes and Lucy Hale.
They have stated that they have “agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time” And “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage,” they say. “We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together.”
“Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.”
‘Scream 4’, ‘Scre4m’ or ‘Scream 4: The Return to Woodsboro’ hits US theatres on 15 April 2011.
