HAS 'THE COLLECTOR' SEQUEL 'THE COLLECTION' KICKED OFF PRODUCTION?

Oooh Mr Gary Tunnicliffe, aren't you a tease! Tunnicliffe, British sfx and make-up artist on such genre titles as 'Candyman', 'Pulse', 'Feast' and the upcoming features 'Drive Angry 3D' and 'Scream 4' has posted an intriguing teaser onto his offical Facebook page. The teaser is that of Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton's ('Saw 3D', 'Piranha 3D: The Sequel') follow-up to their slightly different (and brutal) torture flick 'The Collector'. The duo will pen and helm the sequel 'The Collection' and the new poster revealed on Tunnicliffe's page seems to suggest that perhaps the production has already kicked into gear? Check it out below.

"'The Collector' starred Josh Stewart as ex-con Arkin, a man desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife. He plots a heist at his new employer's country home, unaware that a second (and twisted) criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps."

The sequel will go a little something like this...

"Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of "The Collector" during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his "Collection." Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena's wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector's booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals."
