The impeccably grey haired actor’s actor George Clooney has stepped into Robert Downey Jr’s moon boots on ‘Children of Men’ director Alfonso Cuaron’s upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘Gravity’. Sandra Bullock (below) has been aboard the project for a little while now, replacing a once thought locked-in lead Natalie Portman. Robert Downey Jr left the project last October due to scheduling conflicts. The role, although said to be small for Clooney, is reportedly ‘pivotal’.
“The lone survivor of a space mission to repair the Hubble telescope desperately tries to return to Earth and reunite with her daughter.”
The project is currently in pre-production and is expected to begin shooting in January.
