It sounds like a pretty good decision, but it appears that the modern-day Julia Roberts actress Anne Hathaway - mouth and all ('The Devil Wears Prada', 'Alice in Wonderland') has officially been signed on to Christopher Nolan's third 'Batman' movie 'The Dark Knight Rises'. She will of course play Selina Kyle, better known as Catowman, in this the third (and apparently) final installment in the series. Tom Hardy ('Bronson'), whom worked with Nolan on 'Inception', will also be on board to play the villainous Bane - will he be breaking Batman's back this time around? Christian Bale returns for the third time as the deep voiced Batman and becomes the first live-action actor to play him so many times. Of course series regulars Michael Caine ('The Dark Knight'), Morgan Freeman ('Seven') and Gary Oldman ('Leon') all return as well. Check out Anne below as well as some excited words from Nolan himself.
Christopher Nolan had this to say:
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story."
'The Dark Knight Rises' is already set for a 20 July 2012 release and WON'T be in 3D - thank god!
