Actor David Giuntoli has managed to do the TV rounds over the past few years and now its about time he scored a proper lead in one. So perhaps NBC’s sci-fi/drama pilot ‘Grimm’ is the break he needs? The David Greenwalt (‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘Angel’) and Jim Kouf (‘Ghost Whisperer’) co-creation has managed to score its lead man’s side-kick in the form of actor Silas Weir Mitchell (‘Prison Break’). Silas will play Eddie Monroe “a reformed big bad wolf who has tamed his murderous instincts through a strict regimen of diet and Pilates” in what is described as “a dark but fantastical cop drama about a world in which characters inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist.”
“A detective starts to see humans as beast/animals and discovers that he has a legacy – to protect “humans” from these beasts.”
