Last month we got a glimpse at a concerned looking Daniel Radcliffe (‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1’) in a still from ‘The Woman in Black’, the new horror flick based on the long-running West End stage show of the same name. Now, thanks to it’s official Facebook fan page, we can check out a brand new and more sinister still of Radcliffe with axe in hand. Its the latest Hammer Films production and stars a number of talented British cast including Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire, and Lucy May Barker. Director James Watkins (‘Eden Lake’) is helming the project from a script penned by Jane Goldman (‘Kick-Ass’, ‘X-Men: First Class’). Check out the new still below.
“The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.”
