‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ star Noomi Rapace has been chatting with MTV about her new leading role on Ridley Scott’s new ‘Alien’-esque prequel ‘Prometheus’. She spilled the beans on the character she’ll be playing, who she has named as scientist Elizabeth Shaw. Along with this clip (which you can check out below) it seems that the Daily Mail are reporting that British actor Rafe Spall (‘Shaun of the Dead’, ‘Hot Fuzz’) has also been cast. The Daily Mail also go on to state that the Scott’s team is designing a monster that’s so terrifying it’s scaring the designers! Spall will join Noomi, Michael Fassbender (‘X-Men: First Class’), Charlize Theron and Idris Elba (‘The Losers’, ‘The Office’). The shoot on ‘Prometheus’ will commence in London on 21 March.
‘Prometheus’ is set to open on 8 June 2012.
