Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia, whose previous effort was 80’s drama ‘Adrift’, is back with his new flick ‘Gone’. Based on a screenplay by ‘Untraceable’ scribe Allison Burnett this new thriller stars the gorgeous Amanda Seyfried (‘Red Riding Hood’). And now the little hottie is to be accompanied on set by fellow actors Emily Wickersham – below (‘I Am Number Four’), Wes Bentley (‘Ghost Rider’, ‘P2’) and ‘Dexter’s Jennifer Carpenter (‘Quarantine’, ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’) whom have all just been cast. The shoot is set to kick off this April.
“‘Gone’ revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.”
