Dimension Films have released another still from the impending ‘Scream 4’ theatrical release. Alas this one is not particulary interesting much like quite a lot of it’s predecessors, however, does give us a glimpse of Lucy Hale and Shenae Grimes in mouth-gawping action. Now, could this potentially be the opening scene to the upcoming slasher sequel from Wes Craven? We think it’s pretty much a definite that these two babes are going to get visited by Ghostface in the first sequence. This fact is just strengthened by the interesting cast order currently listed at the IMDB. The first four names on the billing sheet are Lucy Hale as Sherrie, Roger Jackson as The Voice, Shenae Grimes as Trudie and Dane Farwell as Ghostface. Now, that has got to be spoilerific! Hale herself did let slip in an interview last January that she would be involved in the opening scene so this just solidifies her promise.
“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
‘Scream 4’s-a-coming folks. It hits on 15 April.
