Last week we reported that uber-hottie Megan Fox was interested in the lead role in the potential new redo of Stephen King's classic horror novel 'Carrie'. And as much as I'd love to see Megan all naked and soapy showering off in the locker room she most definitely doesn't seem to fit the role. And it appears King himself has someone else in mind when talking to Entertainment Weekly about it recently. In the interview over the 'possibility' of a remake he name dropped a certain Miss Lindsay Lohan (below). Now, aside from the fact she has the right coloured hair (sometimes), I think that's a pretty good shout. What do you guys think? If she behaves herself and isn't locked up at the time I feel it's a decent suggestion.
Here's what King had to say on the matter:
"I've heard rumblings about a Carrie remake, as I have about The Stand and It. Who knows if it will happen? The real question is why, when the original was so good? I mean, not Casablanca, or anything, but a really good horror-suspense film, much better than the book. Piper Laurie really got her teeth into the bad-mom thing. Although Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White..hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast."
Could Lindsay Lohan Become 'Carrie'?
