We haven’t had much to report on regarding new Spanish home invasion flick Kidnapped (AKA ‘Secuestrados’) for a few months now. The Spanish premiere came and went and we were all just sitting around waiting for some international release news. It was picked up in the US by IFC films some time ago and here it is folks, our stateside neighbours will see the new thriller from writer/director Miguel Angel Vivas in theatres across the US both theatrically and On Demand. ‘Kidnapped’ will firstly arrive on VOD from 15 June and will then hit theatres from 17 June. Refresh yourself with the trailer below. It stars Manuela Vellés (below), Ana Wagener, Fernando Cayo, César Díaz, Dritan Biba, Martijn Kuiper, Guillermo Barrientos and Xoel Yáñez.
“Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.”
