'Hellboy' and 'Pan's Labyrinth' writer/director Guillermo del Toro is promising that his new sci-fi action project 'Pacific Rim' will be 'his biggest yet', after speaking with the guys over at Shock Till You Drop. But the good news aside we still have to wait until 12 July 2013 until we'll get to enjoy it. Legendary are producing the flick which sees British born actor and 'Sons of Anarchy' star Charlie Hunnam already on board. Actors Idris Elba ('Prom Night', 'The Losers') and funnyman Charlie Day ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'Horrible Bosses') are also potentially in line for roles in the movie.
"When an alien attack threatens the Earth's existence, giant robots piloted by humans are deployed to fight off the menace."
