20th Century Fox has decided to release their own, rather purposefully obscure, plot synopsis for Ridley Scott's new sci-fi 'Alien'-related project 'Prometheus'. It doesn't give away much and there's no mention of 'Aliens' whatsoever...Boooo! In other news Joblo are reporting that actor Ben Foster (below) has signed up for a role on the project. We think that's a great casting, Foster has certainly become something of a damn decent actor over the past few years and so will gladly watch him in most things he does. A long time gone are the days of 'Get Over It'. 'Prometheus' stars 'X-Men: First Class' actor Michael Fassbender and 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo's Noomi Rapace along with the sexy Charlize Theron, 'Luther' star Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green and 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' funnyman 'Rafe Spall'.
Check out the synopsis below:
"Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life's ultimate mystery."
