PREMIERES GALORE IN FULL HORROR LINE-UP REVEALED FOR THE 2011 FILM4 FRIGHTFEST

Take a deep breathe! Because the official Film4 FrightFest line-up has been announced. The event taking place from Thursday 25 August to Monday 29 August at the Empire Cinema in London's Leicester Square is jam packed with horror features from far and wide and will consist of seven world premieres and a record-equalling twenty UK or European premieres! The full listing of the 37 features to debut over that late August weekend are shown below. Notable highlights include UK horror flicks 'The Wicker Tree' (directed by 'The Wicker Man' writer and helmer Robin Hardy), Chris Crow's 'Panic Button' and 'Guinea Pigs'. The festival will also see the UK premieres of 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark', 'Final Destination 5', 'Tucker & Dale Vs Evil', Ti West's 'The Innkeepers', Joseph Kahn's 'Detention' and Lucky McKee's 'The Woman'. A preview of 'Fright Night 3D' will even play at the popular London-based fest. Lucky attendees will also get to check out first-time horror features from both Israel and Switzerland in the form of 'Rabies' and 'Sennentuntschi: Curse of the Alps' respectively.
