LIONSGATE GIVE GHOST HOUSE PICTURES' 'DIBBUK BOX' A TITLE RENAME 'POSSESSION'

Sam Raimi's Ghost House Pictures' has had 'Dibbuk Box' on its slate for quite some time now. It's due out next January but according to Bloody Disgusting the Ole Bornedal directed horror flick has been given an entirely new title. So thanks to Lionsgate wave goodbye to the stand-out 'Dibbuk Box' title and make way for 'Possession' - its much more forgettable and bland-eriffic counterpart. The cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan ('The Losers', 'The Resident'), Kyra Sedgwick (below), Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis.

"A recently divorced father's (Morgan) youngest daughter becomes strangely connected to an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. As his daughter's behavior becomes more erratic, the father senses a dark presence building until he discovers that the box was built to contain a dibbuk -- a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host."
