Ghostface gets up to his old tricks in Dimension Films ‘Scream 4’. With all the speculation and build up surrounding Wes Craven’s fourth outing in the record-breaking slasher franchise it was unsurprisingly underwhleming, however that won’t stop the marketing machine from pushing out the DVD and Blu-ray release to the best of its abilities! The first glimpse at the new box artwork can be found below. ‘Scream 4’ sees returning players Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette along with some sexy new blood in the (fine) form of Hayden Panettiere (‘Heroes’), Emma Roberts, Marley Shelton, Anna Paquin (‘True Blood’), Kristen Bell (‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’), Lucy Hale, Alison Brie, Britt Robertson, Aimee Teegarden, Marielle Jaffe and Shenae Grimes. Check out the new artwork below.
“Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.”
‘Scream 4’ will arrive on DVD/Blu-ray and VOD simultaneously from 4 October 2011 across the US.
