VAMPIRE SERIES 'TRUE BLOOD' CREATOR ALAN BALL SECURES SEASON 5 DEAL WITH HBO

'True Blood' fans are in for a treat today. Whilst you sit around each week twiddling your thumbs waiting with anticipation over the next action-packed, blood-soaked, sex-filled episode of season 4 of the popular HBO series news has come in that a deal has been secured for a fifth season of the hit show! HBO and creator Alan Ball came to the deal to see that 'True Blood' season 5 will go into production later this year with another 12 new epsiodes. The series stars Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer and Ryan Kwanten.

"HBO and Alan Ball have indeed reached a deal to renew the hit vampire drama "True Blood" for a fifth season."

"The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisiana who can read people's minds, and how her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires 'came out of the coffin' on national television."
