Alex Proyas’ feature adaption of ‘Paradise Lost’, based on the famous John Milton poem, looks likely to nab another new cast member. Brit actor Rufus Sewell (‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’) is currently in talks with Legendary Pictures to join the cast. Director Proyas of course helmed the sci-fi thriller ‘Dark City’ back in 1998 in which Sewell starred. Sewell (below) will join Bradley Cooper (‘The A Team’), Benjamin Walker (‘Flags of Our Fathers’) and Djimon Hounsou (‘The Island’) who are set to play Lucifer, Michael and Abdiel respectively.
“An action-heavy take on the epic poem centered on the war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer.”
The adaption will commence shooting in Sydney, Australia soon.
