Guillermo Del Toro's 'Pacific Rim' is shaping up nicely, at least regarding the cast list its slowly building up. Clifton Collins, Jr. ('The Experiment', 'Star Trek') is the latest actor to hop on board the new Legendary Pictures sci-fi epic. He joins Charlie Hunnam ('Green Street'), Idris Elba ('The Wire'), Charlie Day ('Horrible Bosses'), Robert Kazinsky ('Eastenders'), Max Martini and Rinko Kikuchi. The movie kicks off its shoot towards the end of October in Toronto, Canada.
"When an alien attack threatens the Earth's existence, giant robots piloted by humans are deployed to fight off the menace."
'Pacific Rim' will open in theatres from 21 July 2013.
