NO NEED FOR AN ASH REPLACEMENT IN 'EVIL DEAD' REMAKE ACCORDING TO BRUCE |

It seems that the endless rumours and speculation as to whom would be playing Ash in the new 'Evil Dead' remake, from director Federico Alvarez, have all been put to bed by none other that the only guy who truly could ever embody the role...Bruce Campbell. According to some recent tweeting from Mr Campbell it appears that Ash won't be making an appearance at all. "No Ash character currently," says Campbell. He continued "ED remake is a re-telling. All bets are off & all involved love the new approach.". So it looks like we can all relax somewhat to know that Sam Raimi's original won't be hacked to pieces and a fresh take on the original 'Evil Dead' concept is on its way. Alvarez will work from his script for The Ghost House Pictures production, which has also had a few revisions from 'Juno' and 'Jennifer's Body' scribe Diablo Cody.
