Scare Tactics
Writer James Moran, the developers behind iOS hit Papa Sangre and writer/commentator on violence in popular culture, Gerard Jones, will host a panel discussion to discover exactly how best to scare audiences – whether in film, books or video games…
Brian Provinciano’s Game Challenge
Retro City Rampage developer Brian Provinciano will undertake a three day game challenge with a twist. The public will be invited to draw, doodle, jot, scribble, scratch and generally get creative as they design a game. From 10am Wednesday 26th to 5pm Wednesday 27th, submit assets to create a very special horror game, set in the undead heart of Nottingham!
Design the city in your own image, fill it with monsters, ghouls, ghosts, zombies and anything else your imagination can conjure up, then see it come to life as Brian creates it from 8am to 3pm on Fear Friday.
The day also offers on a more ‘hands-on’ approach, with several craft events, including worldwide art phenomenon Dr Sketchy’s Anti Art School dead life drawing sessions, become one of the undead with our zombie make up experts and take part in a zombie beauty pageant for the title and crown of Mr and Mrs Zombie.
