The Lionsgate production ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’ is due to arrive in theatres next Hallowen and now a fresh new teaser one-sheet has been unveiled for the purposefully misleading new addition to the franchise. Director John Luessenhop (‘Takers’) helms the project which stars Bill Moseley (‘The Devil’s Rejects’), Alexandra Daddario (‘Hall Pass’), Tania Raymonde (‘Lost’), Sue Rock, Trey Songz, Gunnar Hansen, Tobe Hooper, Marilyn Burns, Dean Yeager, Keram Malicki-Sanchez, Thom Barry, Paul Rae, Scott Eastwood and Richard Riehle. This movie can also be added to the heap of horror movies that I swear purposely confuse non-horror aficionado’s into watching them thinking they’re actually something else. First time I heard about the movie I simply thought it would be Tobe Hooper’s original movie in 3D. I would really appreciated it if studio’s could stop piggy-backing on another movies’ past success. I mean just look at ‘The Final Destination’ or ‘The Thing’ (remake). Pointless trickery from the marketing departments. What’s wrong with ‘Final Destination 4’ and ‘The Thing Lands’ (or something less shit)? Check out the new teaser art below.
“Daddario plays a young girl who heads to Texas to collect an inheritance that includes the infamous Leatherface.”
‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’ is due to hit theatres on 5 October 2012.
