GHOST HOUSE PICTURES' 'THE POSSESSION' OPENS ITS HAUNTED DOORS NEXT AUGUST

Originally due to hit theatres on 6 January 2012 was Ghost House Pictures' 'The Possession'. I said was because sadly the horror project, formerly known as 'The Dibbuk Box', has been pushed all the way back to a late Summer release. Jeffrey Dean Morgan -below ('Supernatural', 'The Resident'), Madison Davenport, Natasha Calis and Kyra Sedgwick all star in the flick which comes from Sam Raimi's Ghost House outfit and will finally be unboxed in cinemas from 31 August 2012. And for those not in the know a Dibbuk box is the name of a wine cabinet which is supposedly haunted by a Jewish spirit.

"A recently divorced father's (Morgan) youngest daughter becomes strangely connected to an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. As his daughter's behavior becomes more erratic, the father senses a dark presence building until he discovers that the box was built to contain a dibbuk -- a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host."
