Lakeshore Entertainment’s ‘Gone’ will arrive in theatres next February. The new serial killer thriller from Brazilian helmer Heitor Dhalia stars ‘In Time’ hottie Amanda Seyfried (below) and you can check out an early new official trailer from the production below. Jennifer Carpenter (‘Dexter’), Emily Wickersham, Wes Bentley (‘American Beauty’), Erin Carufel, Sebastian Stan and Socratis Otto all star in the movie which stars Seyfried as a distraught babe searching for her sister who she believes has been kidnapped and gets no apparent help from the authorities. The story comes hot from the pen of scribe Allison Burnett who wrote the 2008 crime thriller ‘Untraceable’. Burnett also worked on the script for the upcoming vampire action follow-up ‘Underworld Awakening’.
“‘Gone’ revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.”
‘Gone’ opens in theatres on 24 February 2012.
