WILLIAM MARSHALL DIES
The Los Angeles Times has reported the death of actor William Marshall, the veteran actor known best to genre fans for playing the title role in 1972s BLACULA and its 1973 sequel SCREAM, BLACULA, SCREAM. Marshall was 78 when he died, and had been afflicted with Alzheimers Disease for several years. He also starred in 1974s ABBY and played stage roles ranging from Othello to real-life figures such as Frederick Douglass and Paul Robeson.
