CBS Films have released a new sneaky peeky teaser trailer for the James Watkins’ helmed Hammer horror production ‘The Woman in Black’. The movie is based on novel by Susan Hill which was also turned into the long-running stage show of the same name. The adaption was penned by ‘Kick-Ass’ and ‘X-Men: First Class’ scribe Jane Goldman and will star ‘Harry Potter’ himself Daniel Radcliffe as a young lawyer forced to work in an isolated and haunted house. Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker all co-star and will see a release next February. “The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.”
‘The Woman in Black’ opens in US theatres from 3 February 2012 and in the UK on 10 February.
