Robin Hardy’s classic horror fare ‘The Wicker Man’ was something quite special for the genre. Mr Hardy has returned to write and direct the feature adaption of his book Cowboys for Christ which serves as the long overdue sequel to the 1973 original. The movie, now known as ‘The Wicker Tree’, will arrive in theatres from 27 January 2012 thanks to Anchor Bay Films and Dread Central have premiered the new one-sheet. The sequel stars Graham McTavish, Honeysuckle Weeks, Brittania Nicol, Clive Russell, Henry Garrett, Ailidh Mackay, James Mapes, Keith Warwick, Keira McMillan, Jacqueline Leonard, Prue Clarke and features Christopher Lee (‘The Resident’) star of the original.
