Those like myself whom were greatly disappointed with Stewart Hendler’s ‘Sorority Row’ remake can take great solace in the fact that a new special 2-disc remastered edition of Mark Rosman’s original ‘The House on Sorority Row’ will be hitting DVD shelves stateside at the end of the month. The 1983 slasher flick will be released courtesy of Scorpion Releasing in a special collector’s edition where there will only be a limited 2200 copies pressed. Check out the DVD artwork below and make sure you pick up this cool edition when it’s released on 24 January.
“Flirtatious young sorority sisters who are days away from graduation set out to throw one last decadent celebration. Unbeknownst to them, the strict matron of their house hides a horrendous secret thought long buried. A gruesome accident is witnessed by a hideous fiend, hidden within the once nurturing dwelling, which triggers a rampage of death and destruction. Before the end, the peril faced by this sisterhood will push them to the brink of annihilation. And rivers of blood will drown all who enter…The House On Sorority Row.”
