CBS Films’ new horror venture ‘The Woman in Black’ is fast approaching. I for one am still waiting to check out the stage show in London’s West End, which I’m hoping to do before this bad-boy opens theatrically. The James Watkins’ helmed feature adaption stars Daniel Radcliffe (‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2’) and Bloody Disgusting have been good enough to reveal 3 new stills from the forthcoming spook-fest. The movie co-stars Janet McTeer, Liz White, Roger Allam, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire, Lucy May Barker and Ciarán Hinds. You can check out the new stills below.
“The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.”
‘The Woman in Black’ opens in the US from 3 February 2012 and a week later here in the UK.
