A new trailer for Push Pictures’ thriller ‘Hunting Season’ has been unleashed. The new horror where a group of youngsters fight for their survival in the Canadian wilderness after a tragic hunting accident comes from young filmmaker Will Bowes and stars Carleigh Beverly, Shannon Kook, Mairin Piccinin, Candice Mausner, Geoffrey Bowes and Mike Kirby. Young filmmaker Bowes, who wrote, directed and even stars in ‘Hunting Season’ can also be seen later this year starring alongside Jennifer Lawrence (‘The Hunger Games’) in Mark Tonderai’s new horror ‘House at the End of the Street’. Check out the poster, a small selection of stills and of course the new trailer below.
“Five friends must fight for survival, salvation and sanity when a local hunter mistakenly kills one of them in barren Canadian wilderness. Hunting Season tells the story of a lost generation, both literally and existentially. Meet a generation so steeped in media, technology and general ignorance that when forced into the wild, in need of employing basic, primal instincts – these animals fall short. In an era where friendship itself has been redefined as a superficial, disposable commodity, the younger generations don’t stand a fighting chance.”
