Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk has begun casting for season 2 of their popular FX horror show ‘American Horror Story’. It arrived on our screens last year to both audience and critical acclaim and even helped actress Jessica Lange score a number of TV awards for her role on the series. ‘American Horror Story’ is due back this October with not only an entirely new storyline and location but with some returning actors being cast in totally different roles. But according to TV Line the producing duo are on the lookout for a new character that goes by the name of Gia. She is being described as “a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret…think Angelina Jolie (below) in ‘Girl, Interrupted'”. The actress should be in their mid-20s and Caucasian. Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto (‘Heroes’, ‘Star Trek’), Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters (‘Kick-Ass’) and Lily Rabe are all returning to the new series albeit to all play different characters from that of the first season.
