ABIGAIL BRESLIN JOINS HALLE BERRY IN 'THE MACHINIST' DIRECTOR'S NEW THRILLER 'THE HIVE'

Young 'Zombieland' star Abigail Breslin has signed up to star alongside Halle Berry ('Gothika') in new thriller 'The Hive'. Berry stars as a female emergency line operator who, in trying to help a young girl (who'll be played by Breslin), comes up against a killer from her own past. Brad Anderson ('The Machinist') has since taken the directorial reigns for the project which was previously set for 'Phone Booth' helmer Joel Schumacher. He'll be directing from a script penned by 'Thir13en Ghosts' scribe Rich D'Ovidio. The 15-year old Breslin (below) is currently at work on Gavin Hood's new sci-fi flick 'Ender's Game' alongside Harrison Ford.
