EDWARD NORTON, SEAN PENN AND REBECCA HALL RUMOURED FOR 'ROBOCOP' REMAKE ROLES

Brazilian director José Padilha takes the reigns of the new 'RoboCop' redo and Joel Kinnaman ('The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', 'The Darkest Hour') is already lined up to wear the crime-fighting cyborg helmet. But word on quite an exciting collection of potential co-stars has arisen which will certainly go a long way in really giving this remake project some extra force. Sean Penn ('The Game'), Edward Norton ('Red Dragon'), Rebecca Hall -below ('The Awakening') and Gael Garcia Bernal ('Zorro Reborn') are the names of the impressive line-up that are being thrown about currently on the web. Of course this is just the rumour mill in full swing at the moment but would be quite the turn up if it all comes to fruition. So now with 'RoboCop' and 'Total Recall' remakes sorted out is it time to move to another original Paul Verhoeven project, 'Showgirls' perhaps?
