'THE WOMAN IN BLACK' SET FOR STATESIDE DVD AND BLU-RAY RELEASE THIS MAY

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it intends to drop Hammer Films' supernatural chiller 'The Woman in Black' onto DVD and Blu-ray from 22 May across the US. The new discs will feature commentary by the writer Jane Goldman ('Kick-Ass', 'X-Men: First Class') and director James Watkins. Also included on the discs are two new featurettes; 'Inside The Perfect Thriller: Making Woman in Black' - a discussion with the filmmakers and cast; and 'No Fear: Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps' - where Radcliffe discusses the most challenging and interesting parts of playing his character. 'The Woman in Black' arrives on UK DVD and Blu-ray from 18 June. Check out the new artwork for both the US and UK Blu-ray releases below.

"The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client's papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance."
