New British horror thriller ‘Monster Project’ has moved into development and the Movie Mogul Ltd production sounds like an interesting prospect. The company behind last years Chris Crow helmed mystery thriller ‘Panic Button’, which starred Scarlett Alice Johnson (‘Adulthood’), Jack Gordon (‘Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead’), Michael Jibson and Elen Rhys, will be written, directed and co-produced by ‘Panic Button’ scribe John Shackleton. The movie revolves around six teenagers who undergo a harrowing transformation into monsters, imbued with various abilities and ailments, and are forced to go on the run, fighting for their survival. Check out what Shackleton had to say on the project as well as peeking at the teaser artwork for the project below.
“Lurking beneath a hugely fantastical movie premise, anchored in reality, is a universal story surrounding a group of alienated teenagers. I’m hoping that this film will have a little something for everyone.” – Shackleton
