Finally it seems that Brit actor/writer Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright will return to conclude their absolutely awesome Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy (AKA the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy) of themed comedy movies. Following on from their hit movies ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Hot Fuzz’ the last installment set to be entitled ‘At World’s End’ will begin shooting this coming September! Due to the success of the forementioned movies both Pegg and Wright have been busy with other more prominent projects. Pegg has been starring in blockbusters such as ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ whilst Wright was working on the fantastic ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’. Pegg will star along with ‘Shaun’, ‘Fuzz’ and ‘Paul’ co-star Nick Frost in an intriguing sounding movie where a group of pub crawlers find themselves involved in a potential apocalyptic situation. Check out the full plot deets below.
“20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.”
