ELIJAH WOOD SUFFERS BLOOD SPLATTER AMONGST NEW STILLS FROM 'MANIAC' REMAKE

The 'Maniac' remake is coming to life at last by revealing a trio of new stills from the redo based on William Lustig's 80's slasher flick. The pics have appeared ahead of its premiere this month and features two of its stars Elijah Wood ('Sin City') - looking bloody, and Nora Arnezeder ('Safe House') looking hot. Franck Khalfoun's ('P2') directs from a script provided by Grégory Levasseur and horror remake expert Alexandre Aja ('The Hills Have Eyes', 'Mirrors', 'Piranha 3D'). Hank Azaria ('Run Fatboy Run'), America Olivo ('Bitch Slap', 'No One Lives') and Sal Landi also star in the upcoming slash fest. Maniac' will receive its premiere at this years Cannes Film Festival which runs from 16 to 27 May. Check out the new stills below.
