FEDE ALVAREZ POSTS BLOOD IN LATEST BEHIND THE SCENES TWEET FOR 'THE EVIL DEAD'

'The Evil Dead' remake helmer Fede Alvarez has been teasing his followers by snapping and posting a quick pic of a bottle of special darker demon blood! The photo, in spite of its apparent vagueness, at least reveals that the new look demons featured in the redo will bleed good old fashioned life blood and not some chalky or snot coloured crap oozing from their very pores and sores. Jane Levy -below ('Suburgatory'), Shiloh Fernandez ('Red Riding Hood'), Jessica Lucas ('Cloverfield'), Lou Taylor Pucci ('Carriers') and Elizabeth Blackmore are lucky enough to be starring in the project from Sam Raimi and Ghost House Pictures currently shooting in New Zealand. "Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead. An archaeologist's tape recording reveals that the ancient text was discovered among the Khandarian ruins of a Sumerian civilization. Playing the taped incantations, the youths unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival."
