Having left the ‘Ghostbusters 3’ gossip ring alone for a while now we’ve decided to bring you this minor news nugget from the desks at ABC News. During an interview with Dan Aykroyd the actor revealed that a new team of writers were currently working on the script. “It’s got to be perfect. That’s the whole thing. There’s no point in doing it unless it’s perfect.” So whether or not there’s any actual truth to the rumour that previous drafts of the sequel script got shredded by Bill Murray it’s all a little academic at this stage. It looks like Aykroyd is intent on bringing us the very best of what can be achieved with such a talked about follow-up after all these years. Whether that’s admirable or mis-judged is another matter.
