Earlier this month we learnt that a mysterious newbie was currently working on the script for ‘Ghostbusters 3’. The news nugget was dropped direct from the horses’s mouth where creator Dan Aykroyd revealed that a new team of writers were currently working on the script. Well we’re not certain who the ‘team’ are but Variety are reporting that ‘Men in Black 3’ and ‘Madagascar 2’ scribe Etan Cohen (below) is the man currently on the case. Both Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (‘The Office’) provided a draft originally but its unknown at this stage how much of their original ideas are still in. Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson are all expected back for busting duties in the follow-up with Ivan Reitman (‘No Strings Attached’) set to return to as director. As for Bill Murray, well…watch this space.
