A fresh new trailer for David Cronenberg's new surreal adventure 'Cosmopolis' has landed. Robert Pattinson ('Twilight') leads in this twisted futuristic vision where he plays Eric Packer a young financial genius whose recent risk puts him in the line of fire. The trailer previewed by those wondrous horror lads Arrow in the Head is a trippy little experience full of solid acting and bizareness that we've come to expect from a Cronenberg project such as this. The iconic director helms his project from a self adapted script based on the novel by author Don DeLillo. Samantha Morton ('Minority Report'), Jay Baruchel ('The Apocalypse'), Paul Giamatti ('Shoot 'Em Up', 'John Dies at the End'), Kevin Durand ('Lost'), Juliette Binoche, Sarah Gadon, Mathieu Amalric and Emily Hampshire all co-star. "'Cosmopolis' centers on Eric Packer (Pattinson). A financial wunderkind, Packer risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a tumultuous day. His deed puts him in the crosshairs for assassination in a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. Most of the scenes in the book take place in the limousine that transports Packer from place to place."
'Cosmopolis' will get a limited theatrical release stateside on 17 August.
