MICHONNE SLASHES THROUGH A NEW PROMO POSTER FOR 'THE WALKING DEAD'

They may shuffle along but the undead assets certainly don't. AMC are feeding us an array of promotional goodies for their hit zombie series 'The Walking Dead' these past few weeks and with the announcement finally of an October premiere date for its highly anticipated third season we don't think we've seen the last. A new poster for season 3 has arrived featuring another peek at upcoming character Michonne (played by Danai Gurira) and her armless, jawless pet zombies which you can check out below. We have actually seen this image before in previous promos but you have to admit it has so much more impact when plastered across a full-size poster on its own. Michonne will be slashing zombos in the new season of 'The Walking Dead' when it hits AMC in the US on 14 October. Andrew Lincoln ('Love Actually'), Laurie Holden ('Silent Hill'), Steven Yeun, Sarah Wayne Callies ('Prison Break') and Lauren Cohan ('Supernatural') all return.

"'The Walking Dead' follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The comic goes on to explore the challenges of life in a world overrun by zombies who take a toll on the survivors, and sometimes the interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the zombies that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive."
