THE FUTURE IS HERE FOR JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT IN NEW SET OF 'LOOPER' STILLS

A new batch of 'Looper' stills have hurtled through time and landed smack bang on the web. The pics feature stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt ('Inception') and Bruce Willis ('12 Monkeys') who both play assassin Joe but from different points in time and also give us a sneak behid the scenes shot of Levitt with director Rian Johnson. They are joined in imagery with shots of co-stars Paul Dano ('There Will Be Blood'), Jeff Daniels ('The Newsroom') and the sexy Piper Perabo ('Carriers') all donned up in some hot burlesque gear. Joseph Gordon-Levitt previously worked with writer/director Rian Johnson on the brilliantly noir-influenced 'Brick' back in 2005 as well an cameoing briefly in Johnson's comedy drama 'The Brothers Bloom' a few years later. "In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination."
