CATWOMAN DIGS HER HEELS IN ON LATEST POSTER FOR 'THE DARK KNIGHT RISES'

The sexy Anne Hathaway has got her boot into a new promo poster ahead of this Friday's nationwide opening of Christopher Nolan's trilogy finale 'The Dark Knight Rises'. The symbolic new one-sheet features the leather booted Catwoman digging her heel into one of Batman's fallen batarangs. The femme fatale feline will finally come face to face with Christian Bale's caped crusader this Friday in what has to be 2012's most highly anticipated release. Tom Hardy ('Inception'), Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt ('Looper'), Michael Caine ('Harry Brown'), Morgan Freeman ('Se7en') and Gary Oldman ('Leon') also star. Check the new poster below.

"It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda.
