Carlton Cuse’s new ‘Bates Motel’ series is filling up more casting vacancies in the form of two young stars, Brit actress Olivia Cooke (‘The Quiet Ones’) and also Nicola Peltz -below (‘The Last Airbender’). Cooke is lined up to play Emma described as “eccentric and extremely bright” and “who has a disease that could take her life early and gives her a sense of adventure and that time is of the essence” whilst Peltz is said to be taking the role of Bradley Kenner, a girl Norman Bates takes a liking to at school who is described as “bright and effortlessly sexy with a depth that makes her seem older than she really is.” The iconic Norman boots will be filled by ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ star Freddie Highmore whilst the delicious Vera Farmiga will play his lovely old mum. The shoot for the new A&E series kicks off this coming Monday in Vancouver.
