British comedian Ross Noble once more sends audiences into ‘Stitches’ but this time not by dropping his unique sense of humour but by turning up in the Conor McMahon helmed horror as a vengeful dead clown. He once again appears in his disturbing make-up upon this new UK quad poster from the movie. ‘Stitches’ is the latest offering from Fantastic Films’ and sees Noble on board as the title character who returns from the dead for his pound of flesh following a fatal accident at a kids party. McMahon directs from the script he co-wrote with David O’Brien and co-stars Tommy Knight (‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’), Gemma-Leah Devereux (‘The Tudors’), John McDonnell, Lorna Dempsey, Eoghan McQuinn and Jemma Curran. Audiences at this years Film4 Frightfest certainly enjoyed it and it is due to hit UK theatres at the end of next month.
“Richard “Stitches” Grindle, a jaded workaday kids’ birthday clown, whose one-liners are witty in a way that’s just not for kids. Stitches falls victim to a fatal party mishap at the hands of a group of particularly nasty children. Years later the group of now teenagers attend a party at which Stitches is the uninvited guest of honor, returning to avenge his untimely death.”
