Firstly, congratulations to Jessica Lange on picking up another well deserved award for her role in the first season of ‘American Horror Story’ at last nights 2012 Emmys award show. Lange, of course, like many of her co-stars will be returning to the new follow up series ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ each playing entirely different roles. Another name that’s just been dropped to see a return is ‘Modern Family’ star Eric Stonestreet, who also picked up his award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a comedy series last night. Stonestreet briefly featured in the first series as an unlucky victim tormented by fear from the urban legend of Pigman. Vulture are reporting that this time however the actor will get to play a killer! And what a fantastic achievement it will be if Lange can pick up more gongs at next years award ceremonies for playing an altogether new role in effectively the same show.
‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ premieres on FX on 17 October.
