After a surprisingly lackluster performance at the US box office Todd Lincoln’s supernatural chiller ‘The Apparition’ is being rushed onto DVD and Blu-ray. The flick which stars hottie Ashley Greene -below (‘Twilight’) and ‘Black Swan’ star Sebastian Stan hit theatres towards the end of August and didn’t so much as manage to scrape into the top ten. The less than supportive reviews that came with it didn’t exactly help. Warner Bros will now be unleashing the project onto both DVD and Blu-ay on the 27 November but there still appears to be no word of any form of release for the movie here in the UK. Tom Felton (‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1’), Julianna Guill (‘Friday the 13th’, ‘My Super Psycho Sweet 16’) and Luke Pasqualino co-star.
“When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force.”
