Vigilante Entertainment have managed to snare ‘Silent Night’ director Steven C. Miller to helm their promising new thriller project ‘Scavenger’. Variety are reporting that the talented filmmaker will take the reigns of the production and direct from a script co-penned by Jamie Nash (‘Lovely Molly’) and Bradley Paul. Miller gained fame in the genre back in 2006 with zombie action horror ‘Automaton Transfusion’ and has followed up in 2012 by working on no less than 3 new genre projects including ‘The Aggression Scale’, the ‘Silent Night’ remake (arriving tomorrow) and the suburban nightmare horror ‘Under the Bed’ which we should see in the Summer of 2013.
“A woman must race against time to save her kidnapped daughter from a sadistic game-master. She is up against a man facing similar circumstances.”
‘Silent Night’ has a limited theatrical run kicking off tomorrow and will be releaed on both DVD and Blu-ray across the US from next week.
